include the time required for your staff to become educated
on all of the system hardware and software, configure the

Installation and Configuration

TSM systems. During a system installation STORServer's consultants
will:
- Conduct a preinstallation meeting with you to discuss
your installation objectives and issues.
- Work with you to determine your optimal backup and restore
configuration.
- Design the solution according to your business needs.
- Install and configure server, client and agent software.
- Install and configure Disaster Recovery Manager (DRM).
- Verify that your server tape library functions properly
with the above components.
- Configure server software to perform daily administrative
tasks, including copy storage pool backup, migration and
database backup.
- Provide skills transfer to your administrative personnel.
